Fr. Jan Kusyk

Fr. Jan Kusyk is chaplain of Newman House, the Catholic chaplaincy at Queen’s University, and the administrator of St. François d’Assise, Kingston. In addition to his priestly ministry, Father Kusyk is vocations director for the Archdiocese of Kingston.

Father Kusyk was ordained on May 14th, 2011 at St Mary's Cathedral in Kingston. In his studies towards the priesthood, Father Kusyk has completed a B. A. in Philosophy from St Peter's Seminary in London, Ontario and a M. Div. in Sacred Theology from St Augustine's Seminary in Toronto, Ontario.

Father Kusyk celebrates mass at the Newman House chapel, hears confessions, and offers spiritual direction for students desirous to grow in their Catholic faith.
